Basketball Recap: Omarien Robinson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pataula Charter Academy over Miller County

Pataula Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 61-38 to the Miller County Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 80-75 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Omarien Robinson, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Doljhai Williams, who earned nine points.

Pataula Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Miller County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

Pataula Charter Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-34 loss against Terrell County on the 14th. As for Miller County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 91-61 defeat against Calhoun County on the 14th.
