Taravella's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They didn't even let the Hollywood Hills Spartans on the board, marking the Taravella Trojans' second-straight 18-0 shutout. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 14 runs or more this season.

Taravella now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hollywood Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Taravella will venture away from home to challenge Plantation at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hollywood Hills, they will host Stranahan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hollywood Hills has given up an average of 16.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
