Volleyball Recap: Hayfork Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hayfork had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Los Molinos Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 last Tuesday.

Sidney Medellin paced Hayfork's offense, picking up nine kills. Medellin got some help from Lydia Yarbrough and her 19 assists. Medellin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hayfork's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Los Molinos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Hayfork has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Tulelake on the 13th. As for Los Molinos, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Chester on the 13th.
