Baseball Recap: Mize Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Mize entered their tilt with Heidelberg on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Oilers 15-0. That 15-run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Mize got a massive performance out of Cale Tudor, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave Tudor a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Graham Davis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Mize always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .900. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Mize's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Heidelberg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mize will head out to square off against Pisgah at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Heidelberg, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Enterprise at 11:00 a.m. on the 14th.
