Recap: Richard Montgomery Rockets vs. Wise Pumas
The Richard Montgomery Rockets pushed their score all the way to 81 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Wise 87-81. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (56), Richard Montgomery still had to take the loss.
Cayden Hargrove was his usual excellent self, scoring 33 points along with five rebounds for Wise. That's the first time this season that Hargrove scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Obase, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Richard Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Wise, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Richard Montgomery's road trip will continue as they head out to face Springbrook on January 5th. Springbrook has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 493 points over their last eight games. As for Wise, they will head out on the road to face off against Eleanor Roosevelt at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Eleanor Roosevelt is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
