Basketball Recap: John Paul II Takes a Loss

John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats, falling 79-18. The contest marked the Centurions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Incarnate Word Academy the next time they take the court. New Braunfels Christian Academy will head out to face Incarnate Word Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while John Paul II will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
