Softball Recap: River Falls Victorious

River Falls hadn't done well against Eau Claire Memorial recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Old Abes by a score of 6-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-6 on Tuesday.

HUDSON WALKER spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on REAGAN SCHERZ, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
