Game recap: Jordan a threat on ground, through air as Centennial beats McKinney North

Lamar Jordan threw three touchdowns and ran for two more as Centennial (Frisco, Texas) defeated McKinney North (McKinney, Texas) 42-21 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Jordan in the first quarter, the Titans led 35-14 at the half.

Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 21 entering the fourth.

The Bulldogs' Ben Dutze was the standout player for his team. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to two on the year.

A 45-16 Centennial victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.



The loss was the third in a row for McKinney North. With the win CHS extended its winning streak to three games.

In a 4A Region II District 13 game next week McKinney North (0-3) takes on Sherman, and Centennial (3-0) will go up against Little Elm in a 4A Region II District 9 game.
