Basketball Recap: North Olmsted Takes a Loss

North Olmsted lost against Westlake back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Olmsted Eagles fell 70-60 to the Westlake Demons. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westlake's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Hargett, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave Hargett a new career-high in rebounds. Andrew Wallenhorst was another key player, going 6-for-11 en route to 15 points.

North Olmsted's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Westlake, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

North Olmsted didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-49 defeat against Midview on the 15th. As for Westlake, they will challenge Buckeye at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. Westlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64 points per game this season.
