Mancos skates past Telluride with ease

Recap: Mancos Bluejays vs. Telluride Miners
The Mancos Bluejays stacked a third blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Telluride 55-13 on the road. That 42 points margin sets a new team best for Mancos this season.
Mancos was led to victory by Quincy Montoya and Claire Goodwin. Montoya scored 19 points, while Goodwin scored 26 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Goodwin has scored at least a third of Mancos' points.
Mancos pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Telluride, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
Mancos will be playing in front of their home fans against Dolores at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dolores has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5. As for Telluride, they will head out on the road to square off against Nucla at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nucla has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
