Carolina Forest waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the St. James Sharks 13-3. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by ten runs or more this season.

Brice Urso was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jalen Collins, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Carolina Forest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. James only posted a batting average of .286.

Carolina Forest's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for St. James, they moved to 4-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Carolina Forest will have a chance to go back-to-back against St. James: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
