The Niwot Cougars can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 67-35 victory over Fort Morgan. Niwot's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

As a matter of fact, that's the most points Melis has scored all season. Chloe Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niwot will take on Northridge at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Northridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Niwot in Colorado (Northridge is ranked 91st, while Niwot is ranked 212th).
