Basketball Recap: Georgia Force Christian's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Georgia Force Christian entered their tilt with Oak Mountain Academy on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Oak Mountain Academy Warriors 82-30. The Blue Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Georgia Force Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carter McCarn out in front who went 10 for 20 on his way to 22 points along with eight assists and six boards. The game was McCarn's 24th in a row with at least ten points. CJ Britt was another key player, going 6 of 11 en route to 15 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds.

McCarn wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Georgia Force Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Mountain Academy only posted four assists.

Despite the loss, Oak Mountain Academy still got an impressive performance from Jeb Harper, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 boards. Patrick Marlow also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Georgia Force Christian pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.6 points per game. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Georgia Force Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against William & Reed Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Georgia Force Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they will host Flint River Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
