Baseball Game Preview: Foxborough Warriors vs. North Attleborough Rocketeers

Foxborough hasn't had much luck against North Attleborough recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Rocketeers at 4:15 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Foxborough 3.8, North Attleborough 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Foxborough came out on top against Martha's Vineyard Regional on Sunday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Vineyarders. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Attleborough fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Attleboro on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bombardiers by a score of 5-4. The Rocketeers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Attleborough's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Foxborough, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Foxborough beat North Attleborough 5-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rocketeers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
