It's playoff time, and Northwest Rankin had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the D'Iberville Warriors on Tuesday. Considering the Cougars have won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

JP Pixler and Tyler Hornke scored all four of Northwest Rankin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Northwest Rankin pushed their record up to 19-3-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those eight matches. As for D'Iberville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7-1.

Northwest Rankin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Gulfport on the 7th. D'Iberville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
