Volleyball Recap: Marshall County Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Murray on Thursday, Marshall County came back down to earth. The Marshals fell just short of the Graves County Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on September 4th.

Marshall County's defeat ended a seven-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-4. As for Graves County, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Marshall County and Graves County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Marshals (ranked 46th) will meet Calloway County (ranked 136th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Graves County will square off against St. Mary at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (86 vs. 217).
