Baseball Recap: Nokomis Warriors vs. Erskine Academy Eagles
While Nokomis put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Erskine Academy. The Warriors blew past the Eagles 7-0. The Warriors not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 11, 2024 (when they won 12-0).
Nokomis got a great performance from Zach Furrow as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 5.2 innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Caden Chretien was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Bowden, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
