Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Magee

Magee entered their tilt with West Marion on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand West Marion a 4-0 shutout. Magee might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by four goals or more this season.

They hit West Marion with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zoey Barnes, Roxanna Barnett, Maycie Smith, and Kaylee Brown.

Magee's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for West Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Magee will face off against Mendenhall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Magee will be up against Mendenhall's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.4 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Marion, they will take on North Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
