Triton came out on top against Winamac on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Trojans walked away with a 5-0 win over the Warriors. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Drew Bingamon made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddox Dennie, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Triton's record now sits at 14-2. As for Winamac, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Triton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
