Franklin lost to North Henderson back in March of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 15-12 victory over the Knights. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Gunner McConnell was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Brock Bradley was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four runs and one double.

Franklin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Franklin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for North Henderson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will take on Smoky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Henderson, they will face off against Enka at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
