Baseball Recap: Macon Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Macon's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clark County Indians on Tuesday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Macon's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-15. As for Clark County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Macon and Clark County will both be playing Hannibal the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
