Mountain View Christian Academy came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 42-34 victory over the Front Royal HomeSchool Flames. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Conquerors also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Mountain View Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was K Dean, who posted eight points. Z Harbin was another key player, putting up seven points.

Despite the defeat, Front Royal HomeSchool saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madeline Wobbe dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Wobbe.

Mountain View Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Front Royal HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Mountain View Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-41 win against Faith Christian Academy on the 10th. Front Royal HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
