Basketball Game Preview: Dansville Mustangs vs. Livonia Bulldogs

The Dansville Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Livonia Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Dansville is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Hornell just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 69-40 loss at the hands of the Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Livonia entered their tilt with Edison Tech/World of Inquiry on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 55-45 win over Edison Tech/World of Inquiry.

Livonia now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Dansville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Dansville strolled past Livonia when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 43-27. Will Dansville repeat their success, or does Livonia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
