Basketball Recap: Fort Hamilton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dewey two weeks ago, Fort Hamilton came back down to earth. The Fort Hamilton Tigers took a 42-26 bruising from the New Utrecht Utes on Friday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Utes recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Fort Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for New Utrecht, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Fort Hamilton Tigers take on the Roosevelt Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Hamilton is facing Roosevelt at the right time seeing as Roosevelt is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for New Utrecht, they will head out to face off against Madison at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Madison has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
