Volleyball Recap: Troy-Buchanan Comes Up Short

Troy-Buchanan lost against Holt back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-21, 18-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Holt was led to victory by Ashlyn ` Winans and Cameran Ebert. Winans had 13 digs and four assists, while Ebert had six digs. That's the most assists Winans has posted over her last seven contests.

Troy-Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-2. As for Holt, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Troy-Buchanan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Fort Zumwalt South on the 11th. As for Holt, they will welcome Winfield at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
