Volleyball Recap: Clarksburg Comes Up Short + How To Watch

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Clarksburg didn't have enough. They fell 3-1 to the Churchill Bulldogs on Thursday. Surprisingly, this marked the Coyotes' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Clarksburg started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.

Clarksburg's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Churchill, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Clarksburg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Blair at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Churchill, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gaithersburg at 6:30 p.m.
