If Huntley beats Crystal Lake South with 51 points on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Huntley rang in the new year with a 51-40 win over Hononegah on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Crystal Lake South unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak last Friday. They came up short against Waubonsie Valley, falling 69-47. The match marked the Gators' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Huntley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Crystal Lake South, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
