Soccer Game Preview: Rush-Henrietta vs. Hilton

Rush-Henrietta is 1-8-1 against Hilton since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Royal Comets will host the Cadets at 7:30 p.m. Rush-Henrietta has given up an average of 2.7 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Rush-Henrietta's offense. They lost 7-0 to Fairport on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Rush-Henrietta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Fairport are ranked 11th).

Meanwhile, Hilton kept a clean sheet against Webster Schroeder on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Warriors 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Hilton.

Rush-Henrietta's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hilton, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
