Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Franklin

Franklin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Farmington Tigers as they made off with a 16-2 win. While the Tornadoes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Farmington, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, Franklin and Farmington will both be playing Newmarket the next time they take the field. The Tornadoes will head out to face the Mules at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on May 5.
