Football Recap: Knightdale Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Knightdale kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a blow as they fell 42-26 to the Southern Nash Firebirds.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Camron Lyons and Jaden Hartsfield. Lyons rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries while Hartsfield rushed for 108 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries.

Knightdale will be playing at home against Enloe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southern Nash, they will venture away from home to take on Clayton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
