Basketball Game Preview: Coshocton Redskins vs. Northridge Vikings

The Coshocton Redskins and the Northridge Vikings will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Coshocton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Saturday, Coshocton really took it to Martins Ferry for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-42 win. The Redskins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 23 points or more this season.

Colton Conkle was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Coshocton's points. Another player making a difference was Jj (Justice) Herman, who posted six points in addition to eight assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 56 points the game before, Northridge was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They were outmatched by Bishop Ready and fell 59-28. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Coshocton's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Northridge, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.
