Baseball Recap: Lawrence Academy Takes a Loss

Lawrence Academy's last matchup with St. Sebastian's School could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. The Spartans lost 8-2 to the Arrows. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Arrows recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lawrence Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Henriquez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Henriquez's first of the season.

Lawrence Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Sebastian's School, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lawrence Academy will host Winchendon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wapiti's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Sebastian's School, they are taking a road trip to take on Groton School at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
