Shenandoah will head out on the road to square off against Wapahani at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shenandoah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

Shenandoah will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Monday, then bounced right back against Blackford on Wednesday. The Raiders' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bruins a 10-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won nine in a row.

Lydia Schwagmeier was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024. Aleyna Sharritts also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Wapahani was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Eastern Hancock, falling 18-0.

Shenandoah pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Wapahani, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Shenandoah skirted past Wapahani 17-16 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shenandoah since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
