Football Recap: Florence Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Florence unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Rosebud-Lott Cougars on Friday, falling 58-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Pryce Rabroker, who threw for 71 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 5-for-5 passing, and also punched in one score on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1).

Florence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 55-7 loss against Central Texas Christian on the 5th. As for Rosebud-Lott, they have also already played their next match, a 49-14 victory against Thrall on the 5th.
