Baseball Recap: Havana Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Havana owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats. Winning may never get old, but the Ducks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jack Turner was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Havana's record now sits at 15-5-1. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Havana will take on Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Farmers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they will challenge Illini West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
