Lorena waltzed into their contest on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They never let the La Vega Pirates get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Give the Leopards' defense some credit: that's the team's seventh straight shutout.

Lorena pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those six matchups. As for La Vega, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8.

Coming up, Lorena will welcome China Spring at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Lorena knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully China Spring likes a good challenge. As for La Vega, they will head out on the road to challenge Mexia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
