Volleyball Recap: Silverado Beats Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas for Their Fourth Straight Win

Silverado extended their postseason success on Thursday against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. The victory was nothing new for the Skyhawks as they're now sitting on four straight.

Leading Silverado to victory were Xalia King and Marlee Fakatoumafi. King had ten digs and two aces, while Fakatoumafi had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Fakatoumafi has posted over her last six matchups.

They weren't the only good servers: Silverado was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in eight consecutive matches.

Silverado's win bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they moved to 25-14 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Silverado will take on Sierra Vista at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
