Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Baker County

The Riverside Generals will face off against the Baker County Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverside will be strutting in after a win while Baker County will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, it was close, but Riverside sidestepped Ribault for a 3-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Generals.

Meanwhile, Baker County came up short against First Coast on Friday, falling 8-2.

Payton Smith and Haddon Rowland scored both of Baker County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 35 goals.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Baker County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-3.

Riverside came up short against Baker County when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 2-0. Can Riverside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
