Football Recap: Bubba Johnson Key Part of Team Effort in Hornets Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Parkview, Maumelle was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Vilonia Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 38-24. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Maumelle got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bubba Johnson out in front who rushed for 72 yards and two scores. Christian Jackson also helped out with an impressive 136 receiving yards.
