Softball Recap: Lamar Texans vs. Sterling Rangers
Lamar might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Sterling who claimed the real prize. The Lamar Texans came up short against the Sterling Rangers, falling 15-3. The Texans just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row dating back to last season.
Lamar saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clarissa Perez, who went a perfect1-for-1 with one RBI. Natalie Giannone was another, scoring a run and stealing a base.
