Soccer Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty lost against Hamshire-Fannett back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Liberty Panthers came up short against the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns, falling 7-3. One thing that didn't help the Panthers' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Melani Rangel.

Liberty hit Hamshire-Fannett with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Marlene Sanchez, Miranda Gerardo, and Rangel.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberty and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Hamshire-Fannett, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8.

Liberty has already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against East Chambers on the 28th. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Hargrave on the 28th.
