Basketball Recap: Forest Hills' Loss Ends 21-Game Winning Streak at Home

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Forest Hills couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 73-34 loss at the hands of the Aliquippa Quips. The match marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Forest Hills had strong showings from Dylan Stohon, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 15 points, and Brandon Gregovich, who posted nine points. Stohon's big performance that afternoon made it 26 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Forest Hills' defeat ended a 21-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 25-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points over those games. As for Aliquippa, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-5.

Forest Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aliquippa, they will take on South Allegheny on Saturday. Aliquippa knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully South Allegheny likes a good challenge.
