Wayne Trace and Crestview are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Raiders will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Wayne Trace is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Wayne Trace came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Hicksville, falling 12-2. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wayne Trace saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegan McGarvey, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Meanwhile, Crestview came up short against Archbold on Tuesday and fell 7-3.

Dakota Thornell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kaci Gregory, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Wayne Trace's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-6. As for Crestview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Wayne Trace got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Crestview by a conclusive 17-4 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
