Baseball Recap: Parma Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Parma and Nampa Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers lost 12-3 to the Trojans on Monday. The Panthers have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Kaden Cole was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Parma's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Nampa Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-8.

Coming up, Parma will head out to square off against New Plymouth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pilgrims have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Nampa Christian, they will welcome Marsing at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.47 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
