Recap: Fairwinds Christian Knights vs. Calvary Christian Academy
After losing to Calvary Christian Academy the last time they met, the Fairwinds Christian Knights decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Fairwinds Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Calvary Christian Academy on Tuesday and snuck past 47-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Fairwinds Christian.
Fairwinds Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaiden Rajis out in front who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Rajis has scored at least 25% of Fairwinds Christian's points. Isaac Gardner was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Fairwinds Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
