Football Recap: Limestone Comes Up Short

Limestone lost against Washington back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockets took a blow against the Panthers, falling 69-16. The Rockets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 62-16.

Limestone's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Washington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Limestone is set to challenge their familiar foe Morton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Washington will square off against rival East Peoria at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
