Scott County proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Henry Clay Blue Devils 6-4. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on three straight.

Scott County's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Sparks, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Parker Dotson was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Scott County's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Henry Clay, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-11.

Scott County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against West Jessamine on the 9th. As for Henry Clay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-3 loss against Lexington Christian on the 9th.
