Baseball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for Mt. Pleasant

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Pleasant). Everything went their way against the Freeport Yellowjackets on Tuesday as Mt. Pleasant made off with a 14-4 victory. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Dane Firmstone, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Cole Chatfield was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
