Liberty Christian came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Parish Episcopal Panthers. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 9-0 victory back in March.

Ben Brown looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Liberty Christian got a massive performance out of Brady Janusek, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Janusek is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Evan Wells, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Liberty Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Liberty Christian pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Parish Episcopal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10-1 record this season.
