Basketball Recap: Norcom Takes a Loss

Norcom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 57-43 to the Lake Taylor Titans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-35 last Wednesday.

Norcom's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lake Taylor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norcom will venture away from home to square off against Denbigh at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Norcom is facing Denbigh at the right time seeing as Denbigh is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Lake Taylor, they will take on Woodside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Woodside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Lake Taylor likes a good challenge.
